Quick SEM Startup Procedures

1. Push vent button to vent the sample chamber.
2. Load specimen.
3. Evacuate to HT ready.
4. Filament to full CCW.
5 . HT button on.
6 . Slowly increase Filament knob to saturation.
7 . Magnification to 35X

Quick SEM Shutdown Procedures

1. Filament slowly to full CCW position.
2. HT button off
3. Magnification to 200,000X
4. Vent
5. Remove sample
6. Close and evacuate.
