Managing your Bearmail/URSA Password
Important note: Your
Blackboard user login will be set to the same thing your
Bearmail/URSA is generated as. Also, the password to the
Blackboard login is synchronized to what your Bearmail/URSA password
is, hence, when you change your Bearmail/URSA password, it changes
your Blackboard password.
Once your Bearmail/URSA
account is activated and you are able to access the URSA portal at
http://ursa.unco.edu , you will
need to set your Secret Questions and Answers. They will be on
the screen
that will come up the first time you log into the URSA portal.

After all Answers are filled in, select "Save Changes" and the completion
screen show below should appear.

What this will enable you to do is reset your password if you get locked out of your account or forget
what your password is. To access the Password Reset Utility, click
the link off the URSA login page that says
"Forgot your password? Click here."

This will bring up the screen below where you need to put in your
user name.

Select "Continue" and then 3 of the 8 secret questions will come up and
you will need to answer them.

Upon success of this action, a password reset screen will then come
up.

If you want to reset your Secret Questions
and Answers you will be able to access them again by selecting the link
labeled "My Account" in URSA.

As you can see on the screen below, there is a link labeled "Change
Security Questions and Answers" Also, you will be able to
change your password here.
