How Do I
Activate/Access My Account?
A BearMail account will be
automatically created for you the day after you are accepted to
UNC. Your
account will remain active as long as you are enrolled for Fall and Spring terms.
It is the login to both the student email system Bearmail, and the
UNC portal URSA. To access this account you will need to find
out what it is and activate it from the UNC main portal page URSA.
Select either of the links seen below off the
URSA login page:

If you experience problems activating your account, put in a call to
UNC Technical Support Center at 351-HELP.
Graduating
Seniors
Graduating Seniors who would like to have their email
forwarded to another account for 60 days, can request the forward by calling User Support
at 351-4357 or emailing
admin@blue.unco.edu
Graduate Students
Continuing Masters and Doctoral students who
are not currently enrolled will be allowed email accounts as stated in the policies below.
The current policy is to exclude
Graduate Students from the email cleanups at the beginning of Fall
and Spring semesters. This policy is under review and may
change in the future, so please return to this page for updates.
