Bear Logic accepts cash, certified checks, personal checks, Visa, MasterCard or Discover card for all purchases. UNC employees that have been with the university for a minimum of 3 months may qualify to participate in the Payroll Deduction plan.
Payroll deduction gives employees the option to have certain technology purchases deducted from their paycheck over a 6 month period. Purchases must be for a minimum of $600 and are subject to approval from the University Payroll office.
How does this work?
Take the entire cost of the computer system and all other items being purchased, add 6.36% sales tax, add the $25.00 processing fee. Divide the entire amount by 6 thus you will have the six equal monthly payments. Payments will be deducted directly from your paycheck. This is an easy and simple way to purchase a computer.
