BrentWhen I visited the UNC campus, it really felt comfortable.  It wasn’t too big, it wasn’t too small.  I looked at all the schools in Colorado and this felt like the place for me—and it has been!

I’m majoring in Business Administration, with an emphasis in Accounting.

The Monfort School of Business is tremendous.  It’s very advanced technology-wise, and the professors are very, very good.  I like how the College brings in special speakers, too.

Keiko Krahnke is my Honors advisor.

Lawrenson HallI live in Weibking Hall now, but will live in Lawrenson next year.  My roommate Jesse and I went to high school together.  In Lawrenson, we’ll be sharing a suite with two friends we made in the dorm this year.  It’ll be cool.

I joined Honors because I wanted more out of college than a degree.  I wanted something to set me apart. The classes are more advanced, and they make you think a little more.  I’m also in Alpha Kappa Psi, the professional business fraternity here on campus.

I hurt myself playing ice hockey, but the coach for the in-line hockey team let me join the team even though I couldn’t play for a while.  He asked me and my roommate to help him out. He said he needed some young people to know how things are run.  I’m only a freshman, but I now have a big role with the team.

I always watch the calendar for fun things to do on campus, like the Fall and Spring Bazaar.

I decided to stay and take classes this summer.  I’ll definitely be going to the Greeley Stampede this year!
