2012 Assessment Fair
The University Assessment Council and the Center for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning will sponsor an Assessment Fair on February 21, from 9:45-3:30, in the Panorama Room of the University Center.
The fair provides a forum for sharing and learning from the work of colleagues across the campus about assessment research and best practices that support student learning and educational outcomes. Planned activities include the following:
- Workshops on student learning outcomes assessment presented by UNC Assessment Fellows Jason Byrnes (PVA) and Lyda Ellis (Library);
- A luncheon “Lightning Talk” featuring a panel presentation on institutional data available to support program assessment; and
- An assessment showcase for UNC faculty and staff to present information about assessment practices, outcomes, and research findings.
A complete program is available here. Registration for the event is not required, and those interested in the fair do not have to attend all sessions in order to participate.
Luncheon
Participants are invited to attend an informal luncheon featuring a “Lightning Talk” presentation and small group discussion. To register for the luncheon, RSVP to Berniece Mitchell at Berniece.Mitchell@unco.edu or 351-2885 by February 15.
