Research and Assessment

First Year Linked Courses have been studied, re-studied, and then studied again, and the fact remains that they are very successful at helping students achieve higher grades their first semester of college, connect with other students in their major area of study, feel connected to campus, and graduate in higher numbers than students not participating. FYE Seminar classes help improve those outcomes even further. General Statistics:

Right now we are working on Fall 2009 Course Evaluations and Student Evaluations of Teaching. Results will be posted as we analyze the data, with the initial reports being released somewhere around the middle to end of March. The previous year's results can be found here: Research for Fall 2008.
