Academic Support and Advising

Research and Assessment

Learning Communities have been studied, re-studied, and then studied again, and the fact remains that they are very successful at helping students achieve higher grades their first semester of college, connect with other students in their major area of study, feel connected to campus, and graduate in higher numbers than students not participating. FYE Seminar classes help improve those outcomes even further. Take a look around this page at the different national and local studies that have been done on Learning Communities.
