FYE First Year Linked Courses ExamplesIn your first semester, it is suggested to take 14-16 credits of coursework. Your First Year Linked Courses will enroll you in 7-12 credits of coursework, so when you get to New Student Orientation you will add 1-3 classes outside of your FIrst Year Linked Courses. You would then add 1-3 courses at Orientation to get you to 14-16 credits, and you would have a full schedule! This allows you to personalize your schedule, while also gaining the benefits of being in a First Year Linked Courses.
Linked Courses ExamplesLinked courses are an integral part of our learning communities at UNC. Enrolling in these links will foster a sense of academic community and encourage opportunities for social involvement with peers across campus.
