FYE First Year Linked Courses Examples

In your first semester, it is suggested to take 14-16 credits of coursework. Your First Year Linked Courses will enroll you in 7-12 credits of coursework, so when you get to New Student Orientation you will add 1-3 classes outside of your FIrst Year Linked Courses. Here are a few examples of what that might look like:

Here’s what a Business First Year Linked Course Work looks like:

ENG122 College Composition   3 credits
FYE 108 First Year Seminar   1 credit
BA 150 Foundations of Business Thought   3 credits
    Total 7 credits

                                                           OR

First Year Linked Courses for Undeclared students:

ENG 122 College Composition   3 credits
FYE 108 First Year Seminar   1 credit
SOC 100 Principles of Sociology   3 credits
MCS 101 Multiculturalism in the U.S.   3 credits
