How to Join

Registration for First Year Linked Courses is simple and easy, the way it should be! When you make a reservation for Orientation at https://apps.unco.edu/nso/, you will see that the major under which you have been accepted to UNC is listed. At this point you need to:

Verify that the major is correct. If it is correct, you will continue on to select your Orientation date. If your major is not correct, you need to call the UNC Admissions Office at 970-351-2881 and wait 24 hours for your new major to be changed in our system. Then, when you log in after 24 hours, you will see the new major listed.
You will then be offered one or more First Year Linked Courses as options.
Rank your top 3 choices, with 1 being your most desired set of courses. If you only have one option available, select that option.
Click "submit" and you will be taken to a confirmation page listing your choices.
You will then be given a list of Orientation dates that are specific to your major.
Once you’ve selected your Orientation date, you will be given a confirmation number. You are all set to come to Orientation and you are signed up for a First Year Linked Courses!
