The Concert Choir is the premier mixed ensemble at the University of Northern Colorado, and is made up for 65-70 singers from all across the University community. The group has performed for conferences of the American Choral Directors Association and The Colorado Music Educators Association, and is featured regularly in the arts series in the Denver Metropolitan area. They perform with both that University Symphony Orchestra and the Greeley Philharmonic, in addition to their own performances on and off campus. Each year they perform for over 400 students in public school performances throughout the Front Range. Their broad range of performance repertoire includes all types of choral music from each major music period. They finish each academic year in performance of a major choral/orchestral work with the Greeley Philharmonic. Recent works performed include Beethoven's 9th Symphony, Britten's War Requiem, The German Requiem of Johannes Brahms, and Mendelssohn's Elijah.
