Rene Oya (A/PASS
Director)
I am absolutely honored to be working with the API students at UNC. In some ways I feel I have come full circle with my return to the campus and to this program.
I encourage anyone who is interested in the Asian and Pacific Islander cultures to become involved in the Center. Our doors are always open and we welcome new ideas, volunteers, and people who are looking to broaden their connections at UNC.

Pat Dlug (A/PASS Administrative
Assistant)
Hello!
I am Pat Dlug, the Adm. Assistant at A/PASS since 2000. I
enjoy being here very much, working in support of a super
group of people and learning a lot about Asian culture. I
live in Johnstown (growing metropolis of 3000 and one traffic
light) with my cat "Sam". My son and daughter
are grown and each has a toddler. I enjoy the honor and privilege
of being “grandma”! I like sketching, crafts,
sewing, going to the mountains, movies, and going out to eat! |
Kira K. (Senior Staff)
Hi! I'm Kira from Kailua-Kona, Hawai'i. This is my second year at UNC, my second year being thousands of miles away from home. I miss my
family and the ocean every day, although UNC has been a pretty good "home away from home". This
year through A/PASS, I look forward to creating opportunites for UNC students
and the Colorado community to learn more about the Asian and Pacific
Islander cultures. Hope to see you at our events! |
