Anthropology Scholarship
This scholarship was started by Anthropology Faculty in 2002 and is funded by faculty and alumni gifts. There are two scholarships available ranging in amount from $500.00 to $750.00. Eligibility - Anthropology major with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
The Faye O'Dell Anthropology Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 2002 by former Anthropology student, Michael O’Dell and his father Richard, in memory of Faye, mother and wife. There are two $500.00 scholarships available each academic year. Eligibility - Anthropology major with an Archaeology emphasis. Applicants must have completed a minimum of 30 credit hours or have achieved sophomore status.
Firestien Interdisciplinary Scholarship
Eligibility - Major in Anthropology with an Interdisciplinary emphasis and a 3.0 GPA.
Barbara H. Mickey Award of Distrinction in Anthropology
Eligibility - Applicant must be a junior or senior; Anthropology major or minor; show academic standing, talent, ability, promise, and financial need.
