FORENSICS

Forensic Anthropology (Anthropology 330) is an applied field of study that deals with human skeletal remains resulting from unexplained deaths.  The human bones are examined with the goal of extracting as much information as possible about the persons represented by their skeletal remains.Anna Williams

Forensic Anthropology at UNC is a lively, hands-on laboratory style class that is taught every year during Spring Semester. Students examine human bones to determine age, gender, height and possible cause of death.
