M.A. Educational Leadership '98
Participant Service Center Supervisor, T. Rowe Price
Sean enrolled in UNC’s masters of educational leadership in 1997 with a career in higher education on his mind; nineteen years later his daughter Tarrin becomes a UNC ‘legacy’ as she enrolls as an honors undergraduate in speech pathology. Utilizing his UNC degree, Sean spent more than ten years working in higher education before transitioning to a new career. These days he is a member of the participant services team at T. Rowe Price in Colorado Springs, a role that keeps him connected to UNC and the university’s recent graduates. For the past three years Sean has attended UNC’s on campus job and internship fairs to recruit recent graduates and earlier this year hosted a meeting of the company’s Colorado Springs-based UNC alumni employees. “We found a good network of leaders at T. Rowe Price that were UNC alums, and I believe that we share many of the same core ideals,” reflects Sean in speaking of UNC and company.
