UNC adds 2nd week for AP Biology: June 25-28, 2012

UNC's Office of Extended Studies in cooperation with the College Board* invites both new and experienced teachers to our AP* Summer Institute. Our limited class size and team teaching approach pairs an experienced high school master teacher with a university professor to create a quality program in great demand by teachers nationwide Our consultants have extensive experience at translating and communicating the Advanced Placement Program* or AP* curriculum and pedagogy of their subjects, and they do so with insight, commitment, and energy.

The cost of each institute in 2012 is $695, which includes course materials and lunches. University housing as well as off campus hotels are available at reasonable rates. (If your registration is postmarked or faxed after May 18, 2012 you will be charged a late fee of $25.00.)

If you would like to earn two graduate credits during your institute, you may chose that option when you complete your registration form. You will be charged $100 for the two graduate credits.

We welcome your request for more information. Please contact Richard Schwenz, Director of UNC's AP* Summer Institute, at richard.schwenz@unco.edu or staff in the Office of Extended Studies at esinfo@unco.edu for more information.

"I have been to 3 institutes and this is the best, most useful institute I have attended. Thanks for the resources!" (AP* Biology participant , 2005)
