Designed specifically for potential transfer students, each Transfer Thursday visit, offered every Thursday from 9 to 11 a.m., includes an informational presentation on UNC, admissions and the transfer process, as well as a campus tour customized for transfer students.
In this half-day session, transfer students will attend information sessions (focusing on admissions, academic advising and financial aid) and take a tour of campus. Students will also have the opportunity to learn about student activities, dining halls, career services, and residence life. In addition, all registered students and guests will receive a complimentary lunch in one of UNC’s dining halls!
Experience campus life at UNC with a half-hour information session and a 90-minute student-led campus tour that generally includes a visit to one of our fabulous residence halls. With advance notice, you can also request appointments with academic departments, financial aid and our Honors and Leadership programs.
Join us this fall for one of the Bears' home football games — and while you're at it, take a tour of campus and find out what makes UNC an awesome college choice. Our Big Sky athletics and world-class academics create a dynamic synergy you have to see to believe. Included in this visit experience is a UNC information session, a guided campus tour, a BBQ tailgate lunch and admission to the football game, all with no charge to you! Each visit starts at 9:45am and runs until approximately 4:00pm (or whenever the football game concludes).
Unfortunately, all of our Game Day Tours have filled to capacity. To purchase tickets for these and other games on your own, please visit the UNC Ticket Office website.
Wondering what UNC residence life is like? Come check out a sampling of our outstanding residence halls during our daily residence hall tour. Step into a room to see if you can picture yourself here, ask about residential learning communities and see the great amenities our students enjoy. Residence hall tours depart from the Visitors Center every Monday – Friday at 1:30pm and do not require advance registration. Guests are welcome to participate in this exploratory tour whether or not they are also participating in a Daily Tour*.
*Please note that Daily Tours do generally include stops at two residence halls: Harrison Hall and South Hall. Also, we do not have showrooms in every residence hall, so we cannot guarantee that specific spaces will be available on every tour.
In addition to a campus tour and general admissions presentation, prospective nursing students can meet nursing faculty, learn about the nursing program at UNC and take a tour of Gunter Hall—home to UNC’s School of Nursing.
