You'll get personal attention from academic advisors, the maximum transfer credits for your previous work , the most financial aid possible and a dozen different residence halls to choose from if you'd like to live on campus.

How do you start preparing for Northern Colorado?
- Check out UNC's tuition assistance for non-residents like the National Undergraduate Scholarship.
- Apply for admission when you have completed at least 13 transferable semester credit hours (20 quarter hours).
- Check your application status
- Check with the UNC Admissions Office to make sure courses transfer properly.
- Tour the campus and meet with faculty, staff and students.
- Complete the forms for federal and state financial aid (FAFSA) and scholarships (UNC Universal Scholarship Application).
- Submit your proof of immunization to the UNC Health Center.
- Schedule an appointment with your advisor or, if you have not declared a major, call the Academic Support and Advising Office at (970) 351-1391.
- Specific advising/registration sessions are scheduled by the Academic Support and Advising Office for both fall and spring semesters.
Undergraduate applicants needing to update their residency information can print, complete and fax a PDF Residency Update Form to the Office of Admissions at (970) 351-2984.
