How to Apply
Each of the following items must be submitted in order to complete your application for admission:
- Application for Admission
- Submit either an online application (preferred) or paper application.
- $45 Nonrefundable Application Processing Fee
- Pay with a credit card when you apply online.
- Fee is automatically waived for students who have Admissions Index Score of 112 or higher.
- Fee waivers due to financial hardship are granted on a case-by-case basis with supporting documentation.
- Official High School Transcript
- Should be sent directly from your high school to the UNC Office of Admissions at University of Northern Colorado, Office of Admissions, Campus Box 10, Greeley, CO 80639.
- A final high school transcript verifying graduation must be sent prior to the start of the fall term.
- ACT or SAT Scores
- Either test is acceptable.
- UNC’s ACT code is 0502 and the SAT code is 4074.
- The writing sections of the ACT and SAT are NOT used for admission or scholarship.
- Test scores are not required if you are 23 years of age or older or if you have been out of high school for at least five years.
Optional: A personal statement and letters of recommendation are not required for admission, but are encouraged for students who have an Admissions Index Score below 94.
