The chart below is the standard estimated undergraduate student costs and expenses for the 2013-2014 academic year based on 15 credit hours per semester. The costs do not include differential tuition rates.

Financial Aid

More than 70% of our students receive some type of financial assistance. Students will want to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the UNC Universal Scholarship Application by March 1 for priority financial aid consideration. Visit the Office of Financial Aid for more information.

*College Opportunity Fund (COF) Stipend Credit

The tuition amount shown above for Colorado residents is the amount after the College Opportunity Fund (COF) has been applied. To receive the stipend, resident students should apply at www.CollegeInColorado.org.

UNC Colorado Asset

Colorado Asset allows qualified undocumented students to pay in-state tuition to attend the University of Northern Colorado. To qualify for the UNC Colorado Asset, students should apply at www.unco.edu/admissions/coloradoasset.html.

A per credit hour charge to defray the higher costs associated with offering sciences/SES/art, business, music, theatre, dance and nursing classes. The differential is expected to be $18 for non-liberal arts core sciences/SES/art classes, $40 per credit hour for non-liberal arts core business classes, $36 per credit hour for non-liberal arts core classes in music, theatre, and dance courses and $64 for non-liberal arts core nursing classes.
