Dan Satriana joined the University of Northern Colorado in September 2010 as vice president, general counsel and secretary to the UNC Board of Trustees. He has more than 30 years of law experience, both in an active litigation practice and in advising clients regarding employment matters. At UNC, he enjoys working with friendly people from a wide range of backgrounds.
Satriana received his Bachelor of Arts in History from Lafayette College in Easton, Pa., in 1976. He then went on to receive his Juris Doctor degree in 1979 from the Villanova University School of Law in Villanova, Pa. He began his legal career as a law clerk to District Judge Anthony Vollack in 1979. From 1980 through 2004, he served as an associate attorney and then partner and chief executive officer with the Denver law firm Hall & Evans, LLC. For the last six years, Satriana has been a partner in the Denver law firm of Clisham, Satriana & Biscan, LLC.
Growing up on the East Coast, Satriana moved to Colorado in 1979. He enjoys the weather and great people of Colorado. When he isn’t working, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Barbara, and their two children, Alison and Joe. He’s also a music, movie and baseball enthusiast.
