Student Billing Has Gone Green!
The paper bills for tuition, fees and other charges that UNC students formerly received in the mail are history as of October 1, 2008, when e-Bill - the University’s electronic billing system - became the official method for producing student bills.
With e-Bill, students (and anyone they authorize, such as parents or a spouse) are notified via e-mail when a new electronic bill is available online to view, pay or print.

Top 10 Benefits of e-Bill:
- It saves 49 40-foot-tall, 6-inch-diameter trees each year.
- Parents or other authorized payers can receive e-mail notification when e-bills are available.
- It operates in conjunction with Ursa, so it’s secure and confidential.
