See the Future

UNC can be a place were every student feels the same connectedness [experienced] in CHE
A university where every each college has the opportunity to strive for its very best
UNC still has the small campus feel (small class sizes, professor accessibility for students, professor knows who his/her students are)
Sufficient financial aid for every student
Big Buddy mentoring program (pair Jr/Sr students w/ incoming students)
CHE- like student support services for every student

Find Ways to Get there

Develop a Buddy mentoring program
Expand the Learning Community concept past the freshman year but on another level besides classes (community service projects or service learning)
Identify what is considered to be ‘the best’ by each college
