Strengths:

Commitment
Caring- Faculty care about students success; working with students to help them get where they need to be
Size of UNC- good size
Collegiality of faculty and students; faculty are supportive of each other
Alumni- lots of students who in turn support our current students (as mentors, internships, supervisors)

Good funding- with a little more we could be even better;
- not grow above 15,000 students- grow strategically
School of music is right size
- Maybe a little growth
- Btu we need more facilities (eg. teach students how to listen in a real recital hall; need a little e more money to huge programs)
Faculty workload needs to be relieved- negative impact on teaching , ect/ FT, TT faculty will make a difference and help us do what we need to do better; care about students, etc.
Faculty supplied with tools they need to be successful in teachings/research-scholarship
Creative student learning
Faculty staff , students proud to be a part of UNC
Need to advertise the good things we do; need a better image
