The following scholarships are awarded to members of varsity athletic teams at Northern Colorado.
Athletics Grant In Aid Enhancement Scholarship
Student athlete based on talent.
Frederic A. "Bud" Bethke Memorial Football Scholarship
Entering freshman football player; Colorado resident; eligible for renewal; must remain a student in good standing.
Blue and Gold Athletic Award
Student-athlete eligible per NCAA rules participating in a varsity sport; 2.5 GPA.
Bart Brown Memorial Wrestling Scholarship
Full-time wrestling student athlete eligible per NCAA and UNC rules; Holyoke High School wrestlers will be given first priority.
Hank Brown Presidential Scholar-Athlete
Participate in football or wrestling; freshman must have a high school GPA of 3.0 or above; upper-classmen must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0.
Harry W. Brown Wrestling Scholarship
Student athlete in the wrestling program; 2.5 GPA.
Pete Butler Memorial Scholarship Fund
Undergraduate with above average ability to play baseball; 2.5GPA; show leadership qualities, dedication to team play and self-improvement.
Adolph Coors Foundation Athletic Scholarship
Student athlete; based on talent.
Louise L. Cronbaugh Womens' Athletics Scholarship
Female athletes based on talent.
Denver Broncos Athletics Scholarship
One male and one female senior varsity intercollegiate athlete; in good academic standing.
Mike Flannigan Memorial Scholarship
Full-time student actively involved in varsity athletics in sophomore or junior year; demonstrate financial need; 2.0 GPA.
Wendell Fuller Memorial Athletic Scholarship
One male and one female senior varsity intercollegiate athlete; in good academic standing.
Joe Glenn Scholarship
Returning football student athlete; 2.5 GPA; demonstrate leadership and citizenship skills as well as a positive attitude on and off the playing field.
John W. Hancock Scholarship
Current members of wrestling team with GPA in excess of 3.0 and judged as having exceptional leadership potential.
Hardee's Athletic Award
Student-athlete eligible per NCAA and UNC rules participating in a varsity sport; 2.5 GPA.
Jack E. Henney Memorial Running Scholarship
Participate in track, cross-country, or any other competitive running sport; based on talent; renewable.
Herdman-Billehus Scholarship
Graduate of a Colorado high school who will attend UNC and be a member of an officially sanctioned golf team.
Price and Gladys Hopkins Scholarship
Athletics alternates female/male each year; demonstrate talent; promise for the future, good moral character and potential.
Jason Hosmer Memorial Athletic Scholarship
Student-athlete participating in football at the position of offensive or defensive lineman; based on talent.
Jack King Memorial Scholarship
Collegiate athlete participating in men's golf; 3.0 GPA
Jack La Bonde/Class of 1969 Wrestling Scholarship
Student athlete on the wrestling team; based upon talent.
 James R. & Janet S. Listen Athletic Scholarship
Selection shall be based on talent with preference given to student athletes participating in football.

Gary Loo Athletic Scholarship
Students participating in collegiate athletics; based on talent
James E. Lord II Student Athlete in Business Scholarship
Must be an enrolled student-athlete and eligible per NCAA rules; Business major; sophomore student or above; 3.0 GPA; priority given to recipient who demonstrates financial need.

James E. Lord Memorial Scholarship
Student athletes who participate in basketball (men or women) or volleyball; sophomore or above; 3.0 GPA; priority will be given to the scholarship recipient who demonstrates financial need.
Richard and Peggy McClintock Men's and Women's Golf Scholarship
Recipients shall be determined by the Athletic Director and the Head Golf Coach.
McDonald's Athletic Scholarship
Eligible enrolled student- athlete participating in a varsity sport; 3.0 GPA.
McMillen Football Scholarship
UNC student who plays football.
Jeff Miller Football Scholarship
Full-time student participating in the Football program; major in a science or computer related field; have completed 30 credit hours or more.
Monfort Family Foundation Athletic Scholarship
Student athlete based on talent.
Myra H. and Kenneth W. Monfort Football Scholarship
Student in good standing participating in intercollegiate football.
Richard and Chris Monfort Athletic Scholarship
Based on need.
National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) Greeley/Weld Scholarship
Participation in intercollegiate athletics; sophmore, junior or senior majoring in Business with preference given to students with an emphasis in Finance.

Nor-Colo Transport Scholarship
Entering freshman; Colorado resident; athletic potential and future promise in football, men's baseball, or men's basketball.
Tom Petroff Baseball Endowment
Talented and deserving student athletes of the Baseball Program in accordance with UNC, conference, and NCAA rules and regulations.
John D. & Hanna Ross Scholarship
Student Athlete with preference given to females.
State Farm Building Athletic Scholarship
Area of greatest need.
Joe Tennessen Family Scholarship in Athletics
Selection of recipients to be determined by the Athletic Director.
Michael C. and Judy L. Tormey Soccer Scholarship
Soccer athlete; based on talent.
Trailblazer's Scholarship
Full-time female students participating in at least one women's sport, in accordance with UNC, conference, and NCAA rules and regulations.
UNC Baseball Program Endowment Scholarship
Talented and deserving students of the Baseball Program in accordance with UNC, conference, and NCAA rules and regulations.
Rene and Marlene Waters Athletic Scholarship
Selection shall be based on talent with preference being given to student athletes participating in football.

Wells Fargo Athletic Scholarship
Students who participate in intercollegiate athletics with preference being given to footbal players; selection based on talent.
Bruce and Laura White Athletic Scholarship
Student athlete with preference given to football or men’s golf; based on talent.
