Some of the topics to be covered include degree evaluation, learning communities, transfer advising, study abroad, Honors/McNair programs, important contacts, best practices, and Academic Support and Advising.

Writers Boot Camp

Wednesday, May 13 through Friday, May 15, 2009, 8:30-5:00PM (Centerra)

Description: The Writers Boot Camp will consist of a small work group format in a quiet environment at UNC’s Centerra Campus in Loveland. Writing projects can include grant proposals, books and book chapters, journal articles, etc. It is expected that attendees will provide peer editing and constructive feedback. Time will be devoted to sharing ideas on how to overcome writers block and how to effectively manage time to become a successful writer.
