Summer 2014 Workshop

The free Summer Workshop will be held at the YMCA in Estes Park, Colorado, June 23-26, 2014.This free problem-solving workshop supports teachers in their development of problem solving skills as well as the incorporation of problem solving into their school’s curriculum. Daytime sessions will be led by UNC professors and a special guest presenter, Dr. Paul Zeitz. Sessions will focus on problem solving techniques for the math classroom, and during the evenings teachers will meet for more discussion on implementation ideas and networking. The workshop is free to all accepted participants, including lodging and all meals. The summer workshop is funded through generous grants from State Farm Insurance and BBVA Compass Foundation, and the support of the School of Mathematical Sciences.
