- This tutorial will guide the user through the basics of editing an exercise in WebWork. This tutorial assumes the user has completed the previous two tutorials.
- Log in and create a new homework assignment, and add problems to your assignment.
- Click on the "homework sets editor" link under the main menu.
- At the bottom of the screen is a column titled "edit problems" select the appropriate homework set to edit.
- If you scroll to the lower half of the page you will see a window that allows you to edit specific problems (editproblem).
- Click on the button "edit it". You should get a screen with a variety of code. Something like this edit code page.
- All problems in WebWork are coded using pg language
- For more information on WebWork code visit the WebWork Coding Tutorials.
- Within the window you may edit the problem to better fit your phrasing.
- Once you have edited the problem select

- Note: Depending on what chapter you are working in your radio button may have slightly different text.
- Click the take action button.
- A new window will pop-up.
- Make sure that the problem works the way you want then close the window.
- You should be back to the edit code page.
- Select the check box entitled "add set to".
- Click the take action button.
