Working with students is an important aspect of my mathematical life. I believe mathematics is an essential part of any education, providing general life skills, more specific technical training, and the ability to think and reason in a rigorous manner. Moreover, teaching and mentoring is how the mathematical community perpetuates itself and prepares future generations of mathematicians.

Below is information about my present and past courses.

Spring 2014

Math 228 (Discrete Mathematics). Course web page on Blackboard (enrolled students only). Course materials will be archived here in the future.

Fall 2013

Math 131 (Calculus I). Course web page.

Past teaching (Cornell)

I have written a teaching statement (PDF) expressing my thoughts on effective teaching.
