Studying for Comps

My written Ph.D. comprehensive exams were on Abstract Algebra and Math Education in 2008. The Comps Readings List might be helpful, but I think my Lists for Studying (types of epistemologies, learning theories, qualitative methods, etc.) were really helpful.

Learning Theories

I am really into social cognitive theory- especially self-efficacy- but I think all the major learning theories have something interesting to say about the factors that matter as we learn new things. The following 1-page summaries of the learning theories are pretty handy.
