Computer Science Minor
The School of Mathematical Sciences offers a Computer Science (CS) minor. This minor can be helpful to students in technical fields such as Meteorology, Physics, Statistics, and Mathematics. It is also helpful for those students that are planning to attend graduate school and will need to analyze large amounts of data.
The CS minor requires 18 semester hours.
Required Courses
The required courses (12 semester hours) for the CS minor are:
- Introduction to Computer Science: CS 101 (all terms)
- Structured Programming: CS 102 (Spring Semester)
- Object Oriented Programming: CS 200 (Fall Semester)
- Algorithms and Data Structures: CS 301 (Even Year Spring Semester)
