NHS Fourth Annual Scrapbooking Social

The College of Natural and Health Sciences' (NHS) Fourth Annual Scrapbooking Social was attended by 104 croppers. Croppers spent nine hours scrapbooking while enjoying breakfast and lunch catered by UNC Catering and won great door prizes and free give-aways. Croppers shopped and created projects with vendors from Close to My Heart, Creative Memories, Cricut Cuts, Crop-A-Latte, Paparazzi, Scentsy, and Treasure Box, and enjoyed a chair massage provided by Andy Duncan. The event raised over $2,000 for the NHS Student Research Fund. The event was featured in the UNC Mirror. Free valet bag service was provided by NHS Student Ambassadors.
We would like to give a special thank you to all the croppers and vendors who attended the event. Thank you to UNC Catering and Event Planning for the room set up and food. We would also like to thank the following local businesses that provided door prizes: All of our vendors, A Picture Perfect Place in Estes Park (Kaycee Brooks and Amy Reichert), Einstein Bagels at UNC, Judianne Graham, Pink Papaya (Ariel Fix), Sandy Pope, School of Sport and Exercise Science at UNC, Starbucks at UNC, UNC Dean of Students office, and the UNC Admissions office. We could not have had such a successful event without the help of everyone.
The grand ballroom was full with croppers having fun.

Croppers came from all over - Northern Colorado, Denver and even Washington state.

Laurenda Weber, who is double majoring in Sport and Exercise Science and Nutrition and serves as the NHS Lead Student Ambassador, worked on her family album. This is the fourth year Laurenda has attended this event.
