Dr. Kathleen R. Fahey is a Professor in the Department of Audiology and Speech-Language Sciences at the University of Northern Colorado. She teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in Speech-Language Sciences. Her research interests include early and school-age language and learning problems, articulation/phonological disorders, and qualitative research. She has recently co-authored a text (2000) entitled, "Language Development, Differences, and Disorders: A Perspective for General and Special Education Teachers and Classroom-Based Speech-Language Pathologists" (with D.K. Reid). She has three book chapters (2000) (1999) (2007) published articles, and a strong history of federal and state grants focusing on professional recruitment and retention. She presents annually at state and national conferences in her areas of expertise.
