Student Ambassador

“UNC is such a unique and amazing place. It is a place where everyone can excel in their own way and it truly opens up countless opportunities for all of its students. I have loved being a part of the UNC community, and I am looking forward to sharing my passion for biology and for UNC with others.”

Carissa is working towards earning a Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a cellular and molecular emphasis as well as a minor in Chemistry. She truly loves attending the University of Northern Colorado and she is looking forward to beginning her junior year at UNC in the fall.

During her free time Carissa enjoys spending time with friends, reading, watching movies, and playing her clarinet. 

This is Carissa’s first year as a Student Ambassador.
