NHS Administrative Assistant of the Year

2007-2008

The Administrative Assistant of the Year award is a new recognition in the College. Individuals are nominated by their colleagues and/or students for their outstanding service, superior performance, exceptional efficiency, integrity and dedication to UNC and to fellow employees. The winner receives a plaque as well as $200 towards professional development.

Recipient of the NHS Administrative Assistant of the Year award was recognized during the spring college-wide meeting.  The winner, Becky Werner from the School of Sport and Exercise Science, was recognized for her outstanding administrative skills and program knowledge, as well as, her thoughtful and insightful analytical abilities in anticipating problems, proposing positive solutions, and meeting deadlines. Becky is recognized campus-wide for her excellence in problem solving, initiative, concern for others, and for going beyond the call of duty to assist others. Her nominators emphasized that Becky plays an important role in maintaining a prominent and positive image of the School.
