Master of Science - Program OverviewThe Masters in Nursing program as been in operation for over 15 years with graduate faculty receiving university and professional nursing organization awards for their outstanding teaching. Fully accredited, the UNC School of Nursing is widely recognized for preparing excellent nurses and teachers. Take advantage of faculty expertise in nursing and education to advance your skills. Our approachable faculty are actively engaged in clinical practice and research to provide you with relevant experiences. UNC offers a Masters of Science Degree in Nursing with options for an emphasis in Education, Clinical Nurse Specialist in Chronic Illness, or Family Nurse Practitioner. Additionally, the School also offers Masters level certificates: the Family Nurse Practitioner (for those masters prepared nurses who already have a masters in nursing) and a certificate in Nursing Education. Scholarships and graduate assistantships may be available to full-time and part-time students enrolled in the nursing masters program. |
