NHS Academic Scholar Awards

In 2006, the College of Natural and Health Sciences instituted an awards ceremony to honor outstanding undergraduate students. Each spring, faculty are asked to nominate undergraduate students based on the following criteria:

Achievement in Academic Performance
Achievement in School Leadership
Potential for the Future

These nominees are presented with an Academic Scholar Award by faculty members and/or School Directors at the Academic Scholar Awards Ceremony. Family and friends are invited and encouraged to attend this formal recognition of our outstanding students. A reception follows the event to give students, family, friends and faculty an opportunity to meet and share in the students’ accomplishments.
