West Greeley

Greeley is growing west as evidenced by the new construction happening beyond 47th Avenue. The homes here are newer and vary from small apartments, to townhomes, patio homes and large residences. The area encompasses two public golf courses, the Greeley Country Club, the Greeley FunPlex and its disc golf course, sports fields, multi-trails and bike lanes, a bronze sculptures path and open vistas of the glorious mountain ranges. This is the place to meet friends, eat great meals, take a bike ride and catch gorgeous sunsets day after day.

Central Greeley

Central Greeley has the highest concentration of single-family residences, parks and shopping centers of a more suburban nature. The area includes a variety of housing options including cottages, single story ranches, split levels and apartments. The style is an eclectic mix of architecture dating from the 1950’s to the present. Many of the residents have lived in their homes for decades, a testimony to the stability and appeal of the area. Quiet and convenient, there’s something for everyone.

University District

The University District area has a close connection to UNC because the six neighborhoods surrounding it have developed and grown right along with the University. While each neighborhood has its own vibe, all of them are home to many UNC faculty, staff and students. From grand historic mansions, to eclectic bungalows, to beautiful Tudor revivals and ranch homes, the University District is filled with unique architecture, mature trees and established gardens. In addition, the University District has many restaurants, galleries, boutiques, quaint shopping areas and Greeley’s largest hospital – North Colorado Medical Center.

Downtown Greeley

Beautiful downtown Greeley is on the city’s Historic Register and has experienced new vibrancy in recent past. Its historic buildings, sparkling lighted trees, wide sidewalks, unique shops and excellent restaurants support Greeley’s many cultural events. Like live music? Art? Shopping? Vintage cars? Fun? Downtown is the place to be.

North Central Greeley

North Central is where many of the earliest residents chose to settle. The gateway to the 21 mile paved Poudre River Trail starts at popular Island Grove Park on north 11th Avenue, which is also home to Centennial Village, a living history museum. Northeast Greeley also has some of the oldest restaurants, farm stores, craft beer and spirit distillers that only “locals” know about. Modest housing interspersed with art studios and manufacturing businesses make this area diverse and interesting.
