E-Text Information
Beginning in the Spring 2004 semester, Disability Support Services will no longer
offer a
Books on Tape service. As an alternative to our old Books on
Tape service, we will now be scanning students' textbooks and giving the
student an electronic copy of their textbook (e-text).
The main reason we are switching from books on tape to e-text is because
each semester we have had an increased number of requests for text
conversion. Before students can have a book scanned, they must fill out a
Student Responsibility Agreement and a Textbook Conversion Form.
Students only need to fill out one Student Responsibility Agreement, but a Textbook Conversion Form must be filled out for each book to be scanned. The sooner students can fill out these forms and return them to DSS, the sooner their textbooks will be converted to e-text. Below you will find links to download both the Student Responsibility Agreement and the Textbook Conversion Form.
