Earn 2 or 6 credits in MUS 256/MUS 456/ or MUS 656

Students will gain practical experience in the production and performance of complete operatic works in professional productions in Europe. Techniques of acting, singing, character analysis, and stage direction will be studied. Students will perform in Master Classes with well-known opera singers and conductors. Students will also perform in student concerts in the Bad Schwalbach, Germany.

This program is open to students who have passed the audition and are not on disciplinary or academic probation.


Students should complete the Opera Germany Application and return it to the CIE Study Abroad Office (UC 2205) before March 12. A $400 deposit is due at the time of application.
