Description:

The Getting Started with Microsoft Access 2007 workshop is most appropriate for faculty or staff who are new to Microsoft Access 2007 OR who wish to refresh their skills in using the application tools and functions

Delivery Mode:

Participants will meet in a three-hour face-to-face session.

Outcomes:

Upon successful completion of this workshop, participants will be able to

  • Start Access and open a database
  • Work within the database window
  • Navigate, enter and edit records
  • Print datasheets
  • Organize fields
  • Plan related tables
  • Create and modify tables
  • Format datasheets
  • Sort, filter and find records
  • Create and modify queries

Prerequisites:

Participants should have adequate computer skills (be able to drag and drop files, navigate the interface, use the mouse, etc).
