UNC Quality Matters Project Requirements
Requirements
- Participants are required to attend and participate in the Applying the Rubric Training conducted by CETL, and QM Online Peer Reviewer Certification Training
- Participants will meet monthly with others in the project (face-to-face, or online) and staff from CETL and OES
- Participants are expected to modify 1 of their existing online courses
- Each participant will collaborate and support other project participants through monthly meetings
- Each participant will review a minimum of 1 other course
- Participants will provide data, as requested by CETL and OES

| Year 1 | Existing course to be redesigned to address all 3-point essential review elements found in the rubric (17 total), essential for certification. | This will generate 51/80 points necessary for meeting the expectations of the QM review process. |
| Year 2 | Existing course to be redesigned to address all review elements found in the rubric (40 total), essential for certification by QM. | This will generate 85/85 points necessary for meeting the expectations of the QM review process. If 85/85 is not reached, at least 72/85 should be achieved. |
