CETL Teaching and Learning Staff Fellows
As part of our mission to the campus community, to assess its needs, and to provide professional development that ultimately results in better staff performance, the Center for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning (CETL) announces the CETL Staff Fellow, starting fall 2014. The Staff Fellow will work collaboratively to support staff across their colleges and the institution, in collaboration with the CETL Professional Development initiative. The Fellow will have a strong interest in the advancement of professional development opportunities for staff and supporting such traditions at UNC.
The Fellow will work within their respective college and beyond, and serve to accomplish the following:
1. Effectively expand institutional staff development capacity
2. Customize specific staff development initiatives across the campus community
3. Help meet staff professional development needs and support the growth and learning needs more broadly, involving external communities as required
4. Share and disseminate best practices among the campus community, thus creating opportunities for staff in various areas to be exposed to methodologies that could prove beneficial to their specific college or department.
If you have questions or ideas for possible forums or topics please contact our Staff Fellow, Robin Weber, or me directly. All the best for a wonderful semester and great year!
