The May 22nd Windsor Tornado

 

UNC students are doing a meteorological research project about the tornado. We need information! Windsor residents...tell us your account of the devastating EF3 tornado on that fateful day.

Where were you when the tornado hit?
At the time, did you have any knowledge that it was, in fact, a tornado?
How long before the tornado did you know that there would be severe weather potential? How much warning did you have?
How big was the hail at your location?
Were there any visual indications that there was severe weather approaching?
Have you had any education on severe weather or severe weather safety?
Was there any damage to your property? If so, what damage?
