If you are a 2016 graduating senior in Weld County and/or Greeley, you’re eligible to receive up to $5,000 annually up to four years for your college education. Here’s how it works.
Weld County Graduating Seniors
If you’re a 2016 graduating senior who lives in Weld County, you may be eligible for the Weld County Bright Futures Grant of $3,000 annually up to four years. Find out how to apply today through the Weld County Bright Futures site.
Greeley Graduating Seniors
2016 Greeley high school graduating seniors can qualify for a $2,000 UNC Greeley Promise Scholarship. This scholarship is renewable for up to four years if academic requirements are met as defined by UNC’s Office of Financial Aid. The following high schools are eligible for this scholarship:
- Greeley Central High School
- Greeley West High School
- Dayspring Christian Academy
- Northridge High School
- Jefferson High School
- University Schools
- Union Colony Preparatory School
- Frontier Academy
Greeley high school graduating seniors also may be eligible for the Weld County Bright Futures Grant of $3,000. Combine this with the Greeley Promise and you will have $5,000 annually to attend UNC! To apply for UNC’s Greeley Promise Scholarship all you have to do is apply for admission and be accepted to UNC.
UNC Merit Scholarship Opportunities
In addition to the Greeley Promise and Weld County Bright Futures, Colorado residents are eligible for merit scholarships if they meet the requirements. Your college education could be paid for! To apply for UNC merit scholarships, all you have to do is apply for admission to UNC and be admitted. These scholarships are renewable up to four years based on academic performance.
3.8 GPA and 29 ACT or 1280 SAT
3.6 GPA and 27 ACT or 1200 SAT
3.4 GPA and 27 ACT or 1200 SAT
3.0 GPA and 20 ACT or 960 SAT
